Stock Transfers
Creating a transfer order in WorkMate allows you to seamlessly move inventory between locations, manage stock levels, and track transfers — all from within WorkMate.

1. Create your Work Order
- Click New Work Order 
- Select a product that is out of stock from your work order. 
- Ensure that the product is sold at more than one location.

2. Work Order Sourcing
- Once your work order has been created, you can begin to source your item 
- Click the Sourcing button on the work order page. 


3. Create the Transfer Order
- You'll be redirected to another page where you can view the product you'd like transferred to your store location. 
- Click the Create transfer order button. 

- You will be taken to a page that displays the store locations able to transfer your selected product. 
- Select your transfer order location. 

- Review your transfer order details and click Create stock transfer. 

- Once created, you will receive a confirmation message saying "Stock transfer saved." 
4. Verify the Transfer Order
- To review the transfer order, click the Stock Transfers tile from the Shopify POS home page. 

- Here you can view your stock transfers. 
- The status should say Pending. 
- You can manually update this status once you have received your products. 

5. Update your Status
- Click on the stock transfer for a more detailed view. 
- Click on the product. 
- Here, you can see a detailed view of the product 

- From this menu, you can adjust the status and quantities of your products. 

- Click Save once you've updated your product status. 
- You will be redirected to the transfer order page, where the new status will be displayed. 
- Click Update stock transfer. 
- After updating your stock transfer, your Shopify inventory will also be updated to reflect this change.
