1. Navigate to WorkMate Settings

  • In Shopify, go to Shopify Admin.

  • Navigate to the Services and labour section.

2. Create a Service

  • Click the Create Service button.

Example: Car Washing, SKU: 1234, Price: $150, Hours: 3

There are two types of services: Fixed Price Services and Dynamic Price Services.

Fixed Price Services: These are for services with a set cost, like a tire change or a routine computer repair.

Dynamic Price Services: This is for services where pricing varies, such as diagnostics that charge based on hours worked.

  • Here you can add a Description to your service.

  • Then set your Price and Hours.

  • Lastly, click Save.

  • Once successfully saved, you'll see your new service under the Services section:

3. Add a Service to a Work Order

  • To add a service to a work order, access the Work Orders module.

  • Create a new work order.

  • Click the Add service button.

  • A pop-up menu will open and display all the services you have created.

Example: Amplifier Installation

  • Click on the service you'd like to add to your work order.

  • Once you click on the service, you will be able to add additional details such as labour and service custom fields.

  • After you're finished configuring the details, click Save.

  • The service is now added to your work order.
