Services
1. Navigate to WorkMate Settings
In Shopify, go to Shopify Admin.
Navigate to the Services and labour section.
2. Create a Service
Click the Create Service button.
Example: Car Washing, SKU: 1234, Price: $150, Hours: 3
There are two types of services: Fixed Price Services and Dynamic Price Services.
Fixed Price Services: These are for services with a set cost, like a tire change or a routine computer repair.
Dynamic Price Services: This is for services where pricing varies, such as diagnostics that charge based on hours worked.
Here you can add a Description to your service.
Then set your Price and Hours.
Lastly, click Save.
Once successfully saved, you'll see your new service under the Services section:
3. Add a Service to a Work Order
To add a service to a work order, access the Work Orders module.
Create a new work order.
For more information on how to create a work order, click here: Work Orders
Click the Add service button.
A pop-up menu will open and display all the services you have created.
Example: Amplifier Installation
Click on the service you'd like to add to your work order.
Once you click on the service, you will be able to add additional details such as labour and service custom fields.
After you're finished configuring the details, click Save.
The service is now added to your work order.
