# Labour

***Tip:** This Labour feature is great if you have a product that will always be sold with associated labour. For example, selling a tire that always comes with the labour of installation.*&#x20;

**1. Create Labour**

* Scroll down and navigate to the Labour section.

* Click the **Create Labour** button
* There are two Labour pricing options: **Fixed Price and Hourly**

* After entering all required details, click **Save.**

**2. Add the labour to the associated product**&#x20;

* Access your Shopify Admin and click the **Products** section.

* Add a new product, or select a pre-existing product that you'd like to add labour to.&#x20;

* Scroll down and access the **Variant metafields** app block.&#x20;
* Click the **Default Charges** field.

* Click the **Select entries** button.&#x20;

* Here you will be able to associate labour with your product.

* You can choose between an **Hourly labour charge** or a **Fixed price labour charge**.&#x20;

* Click **Save**.&#x20;

**3. Verify the labour**

* After saving the labour to the product, you will be able to see the labour on the product when creating a work order.&#x20;
* The product will now say **"Has Additional Labour,"** and the price will reflect the product and labour price.

* If you click on the product, you will be able to see a detailed view of the labour as well.
