Creating a Schedule

Build and manage employee schedules for your store locations by assigning shifts, setting work hours, and organizing tasks. View schedules by day, week, or month to ensure proper coverage and smooth operations.

Documentation:

1. Open WorkMate from Shopify Admin

  • Log in to your Shopify store and go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Apps in the left sidebar and select WorkMate from the list of installed applications.

2. Access the Schedule Module

  • Once inside WorkMate, find and click on the Schedule module from the main dashboard or sidebar menu.

3. Manage Schedules

  • Access the Manage Schedules module.

Tip: Only Superusers will have access to the Manage Schedules section. You can configure this in the Roles settings by checking the Manage Schedules permission.

  • On the sidebar, click + New schedule.

  • Enter the name for your schedule. You also have the option to link your schedules to your store locations.

  • Click Create.

  • Your schedule will now appear in the sidebar. You also can toggle on and off your schedules.

  • By selecting a schedule for a store location, only the tasks created from that store location will appear (i.e., if you choose your New York location, only tasks from that location will appear).

Tip: You can update your store’s operational hours directly in the Schedule Settings to ensure accurate shift planning and availability management.
