Employee Availability Modes

WorkMate allows you to manage employee availability in two different modes: My Availability and Manage Capacity. You can select your preferred method in the Settings section, but please note that only one mode can be used at a time.

1. My Availability Mode

In this mode, you can schedule employees by setting specific start and end times for their availability.

  • View and manage availability using a calendar view.

  • Ideal for scheduling shifts or fixed working hours.

  • Great for teams that need time-specific availability tracking.

2. Manage Capacity Mode

This mode lets you manage availability based on minutes per day.

  • Track how many minutes of capacity each employee has available.

  • Monitor how much time has been allocated or remains unallocated.

  • View employee capacity for tasks in a modularized view.

  • Capacity updates in real-time as tasks are assigned or adjusted.

Tip: Choose the mode that best fits how your team operates, whether you're scheduling by the clock or managing flexible capacity throughout the day.

3. Changing the Employee Availability Mode

  • To change the employee availability mode, go into the settings.

  • Switch to the schedule tab.

  • Toggle the employee availability mode.
