Cycle Counts

The Cycle Count module is a powerful inventory management tool designed to help businesses maintain accurate stock levels through routine counts. With WorkMate's Cycle Count module, you can effortlessly perform and manage cycle counts directly within your Shopify store.

Documentation:

1. Access the Cycle Count module

  • Open Shopify Admin.

  • On the Admin home screen, find and access the Cycle Count module.

2. Start a New Cycle Count

  • You will be taken to the main overview page displaying existing Cycle Counts.

  • Click New cycle count button.

Enter the:

  1. Location of your store.

  2. Assign any employees if needed.

  3. Assign a due date if needed.

  4. Add notes if needed.

3. Add products

  • Import products to your cycle count by clicking Import Products or Scan products.

  • Next, select a product.

Example: Achievement Flame on Marble Base

  • Once you select a product, it will be added to the Products app block.

4. Perform the Cycle Count

  • To perform the cycle count, click on the product.

  • This opens up a dialogue box where you can conduct the cycle count by verifying and recording the inventory quantities for each product.

  • Adjust the quantity by clicking the up and down arrows, or manually typing a number into the field.

Example: Count Quantity = 6

  • After entering your count quantity, click Save.

  • To save your cycle count, click Save at the top of the page.

5. Apply the Cycle Count

  • After saving your cycle count, you will be able to view the application history, apply the cycle count, and lock it.

  • To apply your cycle count, click Apply cycle count.

Tip: Locking the cycle count will prevent further changes.

  • To apply your cycle count, click the Apply cycle count button.

Tip: Applying a cycle count updates your Shopify inventory with your cycle count changes.

  • Click the Apply selected button.

  • Once applied, the status of the product will change to Applied.

  • Your Shopify inventory will now reflect the new quantity from the cycle count.
