# Cycle Count Settings
**1. Configure Cycle Count Statuses**
* Find the Work Orders module at the top-level menu.
* In the Work Order Statuses section, you can define the different statuses for tracking the progress of work orders.
Example: Default statuses include Draft and Completed.
**2. Creating or Removing Statuses**
* To add a new status, type the name of the new status (e.g., Pending or Ready for Pickup) into the field and press Enter.
* To remove a status, click the X next to it.

***Tip**: If you have a large number of statuses from another system, you can email WorkMate at **** for assistance in bulk importing statuses.*

**3. Set Default Work Order Status**
* In the Default Status field, select the status that will automatically be assigned to a new work order when it’s created.
Example: Draft
* This ensures all new work orders start with a consistent status.
**4. Configure an ID format**
* Configure an ID format.
* The default ID format for Cycle Counts is CC-#{{id}}.
Example: CC-#10
