Create a Special Order for an Online Order

This Create Special Order App feature allows you to create a special order from a POS order, outside of WorkMate.
1. Add the App Extension
Access Shopify Admin and navigate to the Sales channels module.
Access Point of Sale.
Navigate to the Settings module.
In the General section, click POS apps.
Click Create Special Order.
Click Add.
After clicking Add, the status of the app will now say Added.
2. Create an Online Order
Access your Shopify POS and create an order.

3. Create a Special Order
Once you've created an online order, navigate to the Apps section on the order, and click the Create Special Order button.
A new page containing your order information will open.
Enter the quantity of your product and click Create special order.
A special order has now been created.

4. Purchase the Special Order
To purchase the special order, access the Purchase Orders tile from your POS dashboard.
Click the Merge Special Orders button.
You'll be redirected to a new page where you can configure the special order's associated location and vendor.

Select the SPO you'd like to purchase and click the Create purchase order button on the bottom of the page.
