1. Creating Events in the Schedule
Navigate to the employee's calendar by accessing the Manage Schedules module.
You can use a shared schedule for the entire team as well.
Select the employee of choice by clicking on their name.
Example: Velen Lu
You can choose to display your schedule in either Month, Week, or Day view.
To create an event in the calendar, click and drag over the desired time frame to select it.
Example: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Click on the event to edit it.
2. Name your Event
In the first field, create a name for your event.
Example: Closing Details
3. Add a Description
You can add a description to provide additional details about your event.
Example: To be performed every Friday.
4. Change the Color
Here you can change the color of the event from how it will look in the schedule.
Assigning a specific color will help to easily identify and distinguish your event.
Example: Green
5. Adjust the Start and End time.
These fields will be auto-populated with the dates and times you selected in the schedule.
You can also adjust the time of your event here.
6. Assign Staff members
Assign staff members by clicking the + Add Staff Member button.
Example: Velen Lu, Brian Kim
7. Add tasks
Click the + Add task button.
Select the task to add from the list of tasks you have created.
Example: Close Shop
Click Save.
8. Verify your Event
After saving your event, you will be able to see it on the employee's schedule and on the schedule of other assigned employees.
