Setting a Custom Field as a Preset

1a. Saving the custom field as a preset

Tip: If you use this custom field often, you have the ability to save it as a preset and import it into your work order.

Example: Account Number:

  • After you created your custom field, click the Save as preset button.

  • In the Preset name field, you can name your preset.

Example: Account Number Preset

  • Click the Save preset button.

1b. Saving the custom field as a preset - Default

Tip: This feature allows the preset to automatically apply to every new work order.

Example: Customer ID Preset

  • Check the Default box so that this preset is automatically applied to new work orders.

  • Click the Save preset button.

2. Importing Presets

  • Click the Presets button.

  • Here you will be able to view all your saved presets.

  • If your custom field is set as Default, it will automatically appear on all new work orders. Otherwise, you can import your custom field to your work order by clicking Import.

Example: Account Number Preset

  • The preset will now appear on your work order.
