POS Modal System Redesign

Completely overhauled the POS modal system with extensive UI/UX improvements mirroring the Shopify admin interface. The update includes massive changes to work order and purchase order modals. The backend was revised for enhanced efficiency and revamped task systems for universal compatibility.

Enhanced Merchant Contact API

Updated the merchant contact API with improved functionality and better integration capabilities, providing more reliable communication channels for business operations.

Subscription Management Overhaul

Comprehensive improvements to subscription plan backend infrastructure and trial plan handling. Features are now properly restricted based on new standardized plan names, with enhanced Twilio support for better communication workflows.

Purchase Order Tracking & History

Introduced advanced PO tracking capabilities, allowing users to monitor incoming purchase orders and view detailed order history. The system now provides clear visibility into which POs are pending delivery and which have already been received, streamlining inventory management processes.

Location-Based Task Filtering

Added location filtering functionality to the schedules module, enabling users to filter tasks by specific locations for improved workflow organization and better resource allocation.

Special Purchase Order Visibility

Enhanced the special order screen to display associated SPOs (Special Purchase Orders) linked to purchase orders, providing better visibility into order relationships and improving order management workflows.

Dynamic Product Cost Updates During Receiving

Added flexible product cost update functionality when receiving items through purchase orders. Users can choose to update product costs with new pricing, calculate weighted averages between ordered and received costs, or manually override costs. This feature includes configurable settings allowing users to customize their preferred cost update method.

Shopify Flows Integration

Built Shopify Flows integration to automatically connect work order status updates with Shopify orders and enable seamless import of work orders created in WorkMate into Shopify draft orders.

Weighted Average Cost Calculation

Introduced cost variance detection and a weighted average cost calculation system. The system automatically tracks supplier costs and updates the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) per product during inventory reception, storing results in dedicated metafields for accurate inventory valuation and structured cost variance reporting.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

This release includes comprehensive stability improvements and bug fixes across multiple system components. Resolved issues on both POS and Admin regarding functionality and UI. Bugs in the Work Order, Purchase Order, Special Order, Cycle Count, Serial, and Labour Module have been patched. Filters, permissions, receipts, and APIs have also been enhanced to ensure a smoother overall user experience.
