In this release, we've introduced key improvements to both the Special Order (SPO) and Work Order (WO) Notifications modules.
Employees are now prompted to email customers automatically after the creation of a special order, with the option to manage this setting for automatic emails in WorkMate. SPO notifications have been improved to include detailed product information, such as product title, order summary, quantity, description, and any custom notes. Additionally, customer contact preferences can now be managed directly within WorkMate, and users can view the history of sent email notifications, including those tied to specific SPOs. There is also a new option to manually send special order notifications if needed.
Merchants can now send custom messages to customers via SMS and email, providing more flexibility in communication. WorkMate's notification settings have been further enhanced, allowing users to automate status updates when a work order changes, and giving them full control to manage and edit both SMS and email notifications within the system. Additionally, users can select a default notification type (SMS or email) based on customer preferences directly from the admin settings.
For better tracking, WorkMate now displays the full history of all sent notifications, both SMS and email. We've also introduced several enhancements to the work order notification system. Notifications can now be sent even without a status change, serving as helpful reminders for follow-ups. Users can view notifications within the work order itself and now have the option to send notifications immediately when a new work order is created, improving overall communication and workflow efficiency.
