The barcode scanning feature on POS now allows users to scan barcodes and instantly add matching products to the cart.

The Barcode Scanning Feature has been successfully implemented on POS, offering streamlined functionality for adding products to the cart via barcode scans. When a barcode is scanned, the system instantly adds the corresponding product to the cart without requiring confirmation, unless multiple products share the same barcode. In such cases, the user can select from the available options. Additionally, the feature allows users to sync barcodes with metafields, providing flexibility for product categorization and management.

Key enhancements include the ability to search for products by barcode and automatically sync metafields if needed. If a barcode matches only one product, it will be added directly to the cart. However, if multiple products match, users can choose the correct product before adding it. This feature is now integrated into the POS, where multiple scans of the same product will add it multiple times.
