### **Work Order Module**
**Due Date Column on the Work Order Dashboard**
The Work Order dashboard now includes a Due Date column. You can sort by it, filter on it, and show or hide it through Edit Columns, making it easy to organize work orders by due date priority at a glance. This was one of the most requested additions from recent client feedback.
**Create a Customer Item from a Work Order**
You can now create a customer item without leaving the Work Order screen. The "Select Customer Item" modal includes a Create Customer Item button that opens a form for the identification code plus optional custom fields. WorkMate validates the entry (flagging an empty or already existing identification code), saves the item to the Customer Items module, and links it to the current Work Order automatically.

**Customer Items on POS (Tiles and Module)**
Customer Items are now available directly in Shopify POS. A new Customer Items tile lets you browse, search, and create customer items, and open any individual item to view or edit it, matching the experience already available in Admin.
### **Settings**
**Configurable Customer Creation Fields**
You can now control which fields are required when creating a new customer, mirroring the "Required checkout information" settings in Shopify POS. From Settings, set First name, Last name, Contact information, and Shipping address to Not required, Recommended, or Required. When Contact information is set to Required, you can specify phone only, email only, email or phone, or both email and phone. These rules apply to every customer creation entry point in WorkMate, including Work Orders and POS.
**Comprehensive System Improvements**
This release includes extensive bug fixes and minor enhancements across multiple modules, including schedules, serials, purchase orders, rentals, work orders, employee management, add-ons, POS and admin services, price overrides, and payment systems. These improvements ensure greater system stability and enhanced user experience across all platform components.
