### **Work Order Module**
**Location Now Enforced When Selling a Work Order on POS**
When a work order's location does not match the current POS location, WorkMate now blocks the move to Manage Payments and sales order creation, with a dialog prompting you to update the work order location to match POS first. This prevents inventory from being drawn from the wrong location. The block is enforced with no override, and when the locations match, Manage Payments behaves exactly as before.
**Total Column on the Work Order Dashboard**
The Work Order dashboard now has a Total column that shows each work order's calculated draft order total. The column is sortable, so you can order work orders from highest to lowest value (or the reverse) and quickly see where the largest orders sit. Totals render in the order's presentment currency.
**Single Draft Badge and Draft Payment Status Filter**
Draft orders now show a single blue Draft badge in place of the old "Payment Pending" and "Unfulfilled" badges, and the Payment status filter gains a Draft option so you can filter for draft-backed work orders directly. Applies on both Admin and POS.
**Assign Staff Members on Work Order CSV Import**
Work order CSV imports now support an optional staffMemberID field mapped to the Shopify Employee ID, so the matching employee populates the Assigned Staff Member field on import. This makes it easy to migrate historical work orders along with their original staff assignments.
### **Purchase Order Module**
**Print Template Prices Follow Catalog and Market Pricing**
Price variables in Purchase Order print templates now resolve to the Shopify price that applies to the PO's location, honoring both Shopify Catalogs assigned to the location and Shopify Markets the location belongs to, and rendering in the matching currency. When the location is not covered by a Catalog or Market with custom pricing, the template falls back to the default product price. This brings PO print templates in line with how Work Order templates already handle location pricing.
### **Multiple Module Improvements**
**Clear the Location Field Across Modules**
A clear (×) icon now sits next to the location field across Admin modules, including Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders, Stock Transfers, and Cycle Counts. Clicking it empties the field in a single click with no confirmation prompt, and the cleared state persists after saving. This brings Admin in line with the clear-location behavior POS already had.
**Reorder Custom Fields in Presets**
You can now drag to reorder custom fields within a preset template, for example on Work Orders and Purchase Orders, both from an open record and from Settings, and save that order on its own. Previously the new order would only stick if you also added or removed a field, so this removes that workaround.
**Clearer Validation Messages on Save**
Saving or updating a record with a blank or invalid required field now shows a specific, inline message naming the field at fault rather than a generic error. This covers Work Orders (Customer, Location, and any fields set as mandatory in Settings such as Note, Hidden Note, Due Date, and Assigned Staff), Purchase Orders (Type, Supplier, Location), Transfer Orders (From Location, To Location), and other modules with required fields.
### **Comprehensive System Improvements**
This release includes extensive bug fixes and minor enhancements across multiple modules, including schedules, serials, purchase orders, rentals, work orders, employee management, add-ons, POS and admin services, price overrides, and payment systems. These improvements ensure greater system stability and enhanced user experience across all platform components.
